Is a tray really essential? What is a tray? Whether humble or ornate, I think of it as a physical metaphor for cupped hands held up, displaying and isolating something consciously significant. For me, it’s a place to put the keys to my home. From a functional perspective, it’s important that these be kept separate from the flotsam and jetsam of life, but it also speaks to the significance with which I have imbued my home. I also use a tray to keep my favourite jewelry, displayed on a dresser in my bedroom. What makes a tray essential is that it speaks to what we value and how we interact with that value on a day-to-day basis.
Details & Care Instructions: Not food safe. Copper handle is untreated and will develop a natural patina overtime if left unattended. To remove patina use a scotch brite pad or copper polish.
